T’ai Chi Chuan and Qigong – Fundamental Principles

T’ai Chi movements are based on the following principles:

  3. Move the whole body as one unit

  • Sink the Chi to the Tan Tien
  • Separate Yin and Yang
  • Head and spine straight
  • Waist is the axis
  • Move evenly and slowly
  • Breath is full, even and thin
  • Mind attentive
